In these terms, "MasterCopter", "we" and "us" refer to this seller. "Customer" and "you" refer to the person placing an order or a bid.

Part I: Community Boxes
02

Community Box concept

A Community Box allows customers to purchase one or more booster packs from a sealed, official Magic: The Gathering booster box. Customers select available booster positions on the relevant Community Box page.

Unless otherwise stated on the relevant Community Box page:

  • each purchased booster corresponds to one specific physical booster pack from the displayed booster box;
  • the booster is opened by MasterCopter during a livestream, on behalf of and at the request of the customer;
  • all cards contained in that booster belong to the customer who purchased it;
  • the cards are then shipped to the customer, or made available for pickup if this option was selected.

A Community Box is the sale of a physical sealed product. There is no draw, lottery or random allocation of cards or prizes between customers, and it is not possible to stake money for a chance of winning money.

As with any sealed booster bought in a shop, purchasing a booster does not guarantee any particular card, rarity or value. The contents of booster packs are determined by the manufacturer and are outside MasterCopter's control.

03

Booster selection and availability

Customers may select one or more available booster positions, either manually or with the auto-select option.

A booster shown as available may still be purchased by another customer until your order has been placed. We cannot guarantee that a selected position remains available until checkout is completed.

Once your order has been placed and payment has been confirmed, the purchased booster positions are allocated to you.

04

Prices

The price per booster is displayed in euro on the relevant Community Box page before you place your order. All prices include VAT.

Where the Community Box page states that shipping is included, standard shipping to a supported destination is included in the displayed price.

Any optional additional charges are shown before you complete your purchase. The total amount you pay is always shown before you click "Order and pay".

05

Payment

All Community Box orders are paid in advance, by bank transfer or through PayPal. The available payment methods are shown at checkout.

PayPal payments are processed securely by PayPal. MasterCopter never sees or stores your card details or PayPal login details.

An order is confirmed once payment has been received.

If payment is not received within the payment period communicated at checkout or in the payment instructions, MasterCopter may cancel the order and make the selected boosters available again.

06

Opening date

The opening date may not yet be known when you purchase a booster. Once the Community Box has sold out or is otherwise ready for opening, MasterCopter schedules an opening date and announces it on the website, Discord, the livestream schedule, by email or through other official channels.

MasterCopter may reasonably reschedule an opening because of technical problems, illness, delivery delays, force majeure or similar circumstances. Rescheduling does not affect your right to your purchased boosters or their contents.

07

Livestream opening

Community Box boosters are normally opened during a public MasterCopter livestream. You do not need to be present to receive your cards.

The livestream and any recording are provided for entertainment and transparency. Technical failures, interrupted streams or unavailable recordings do not affect your right to receive the cards from your purchased boosters.

08

Booster contents

All cards physically contained in your purchased booster belong to you, unless the Community Box page clearly states otherwise before purchase.

MasterCopter does not guarantee any specific card, rarity, monetary or secondary-market value, minimum value, future value, grading result, or a card condition beyond what can reasonably be expected from a newly opened booster.

Manufacturing characteristics such as printing variations, centering, print lines or surface imperfections are outside MasterCopter's control.

Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights regarding defective or incorrectly supplied goods, including the legal guarantee of conformity.

09

Shipping

Cards are shipped to the address you provide at checkout, normally after the livestream opening. You are responsible for providing a complete and correct address. If a parcel is returned because of an incorrect or incomplete address, MasterCopter may charge the reasonable cost of reshipping.

Where shipping is included in the booster price, this covers the standard shipping method offered for that Community Box. Other shipping options may carry an extra charge, which is always shown and agreed beforehand.

For deliveries outside the European Union, import duties, customs charges or local taxes may be payable by the recipient unless stated otherwise.

MasterCopter bears the risk of loss or damage until the parcel is delivered to you, in accordance with Belgian and European consumer law.

10

Pickup

Where offered at checkout, you may choose to collect your cards in person instead of having them shipped. MasterCopter will let you know when and where your order can be collected. You may be asked to show your order confirmation or a proof of identity.

11

Right of withdrawal (14 days)

As a consumer, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 calendar days without giving any reason.

Before your booster is opened
You can always withdraw, free of charge, as long as your booster has not yet been opened. You receive a full refund of the amount paid.

Once your booster is opened on stream
The live opening is carried out at your explicit request. By accepting these terms at checkout, you expressly request that MasterCopter opens your booster during the withdrawal period, and you acknowledge that once your booster has been opened as requested, you lose your right of withdrawal for that booster, to the extent permitted by law. We therefore strongly recommend withdrawing before the announced opening date if you change your mind.

How to withdraw. Send a clear statement of your decision to info@mastercopter.com, or by post to Molenveld 210, 2490 Balen, Belgium. Please include your name, order number and the boosters concerned. You may use the model withdrawal form below, but this is not required. Sending your message before the withdrawal period expires is sufficient.

Model withdrawal form
To: MasterCopter - Yannick Diels, Molenveld 210, 2490 Balen, Belgium, info@mastercopter.com
I hereby give notice that I withdraw from my contract for the following: [boosters / item]
Ordered on: [date], order number: [number]
Name: [name]
Address: [address]
Date: [date]

Refund. We refund all payments received from you, including standard shipping costs, without undue delay and at the latest within 14 days of receiving your withdrawal notice. We use the same payment method you used, unless you expressly agree otherwise. You are not charged any fee for the refund.

Goods already received. Where the right of withdrawal applies to an item you have already received (for example an unopened Box Topper won at auction), the withdrawal period starts on the day you receive it. You must return the item within 14 days of your withdrawal notice, in its original condition. The direct cost of returning it is borne by you. We may withhold the refund until we have received the item back.

Nothing in these terms restricts statutory consumer rights that cannot legally be waived.

12

Cancellation and refunds

To cancel an order before your boosters are opened, contact info@mastercopter.com or +32 497 28 52 69 as soon as possible. You receive a full refund as described in section 11.

If MasterCopter cannot open or deliver a Community Box (for example because the box cannot be sold out or the product cannot be supplied), we will inform you and fully refund the affected boosters.

While a cancellation is being processed, the booster positions concerned may temporarily be unavailable to other customers.

Part II: Box Topper Auctions
13

Box Topper auctions

Some Community Boxes contain a Box Topper, promotional card or other separate product. Where indicated on the Community Box page, MasterCopter may sell this item through a separate online auction.

The Box Topper is not included with any booster, unless explicitly stated before purchase. Buying boosters does not give you ownership of the Box Topper or any random chance of winning it.

The auction is based solely on bidding. The highest valid bidder when the auction closes buys the item for the winning bid amount.

14

Auction duration

Unless stated otherwise on the auction page, a Box Topper auction runs for 15 minutes and is started by MasterCopter shortly before or during the livestream opening of the relevant Community Box.

The closing time is shown on the auction page. All times follow the time zone indicated there.

15

Anti-sniping extension

If a valid bid is placed during the final 20 seconds of an auction, the closing time is extended to 20 seconds after that bid. Every new valid bid in that period resets the remaining time to 20 seconds. The auction closes once 20 seconds pass without a new valid bid. There is no maximum number of extensions unless stated on the auction page.

Example, scheduled closing time 20:15:00
Bid at 20:14:45, new closing time 20:15:05
Bid at 20:15:00, new closing time 20:15:20
16

Auction bids

You need a MasterCopter account to bid. The current highest bid and the minimum next bid are shown on the auction page. Please check your amount carefully before confirming.

Every bid is binding. Before bidding, you confirm that you accept these terms and that you are obliged to pay your bid if you win.

Bidders may not manipulate the bidding process, use multiple accounts, coordinate artificial or fraudulent bids, interfere with other bidders, or use unauthorized automated tools. MasterCopter may invalidate fraudulent, abusive or technically invalid bids on reasonable grounds.

MasterCopter never places artificial bids and never artificially raises auction prices.

17

Auction winner

The bidder with the highest valid bid at closing wins the auction and receives payment instructions by email. The purchase price is the winning bid, including VAT.

Whether shipping is included or charged separately is shown on the auction page before bidding. Your statutory consumer rights, including the right of withdrawal in section 11, also apply to auction purchases.

18

Auction payment

The winning bidder must pay within the payment period communicated after the auction. If payment is not received in time, MasterCopter may cancel the order, offer the item to the next highest bidder, or restart the auction.

MasterCopter may restrict participation by accounts that repeatedly win auctions without paying.

19

Technical auction problems

If a significant technical problem prevents normal bidding, MasterCopter may reasonably suspend, extend, restore to a previous valid state, or restart the auction. This is only done where needed to keep the bidding process fair.

Part III: General conditions
20

Customer accounts

Keep your login details confidential. Orders and bids placed through your account are considered to be made by you, unless there is evidence of unauthorized access. Report suspected misuse immediately to info@mastercopter.com.

21

Pricing and technical errors

MasterCopter takes reasonable care that product descriptions, availability, prices and auction information are correct. Obvious errors that you could reasonably have recognized as such do not bind MasterCopter. If an error affects your order, we will contact you and offer a fair solution, which may include a full refund.

22

Intellectual property

Magic: The Gathering, Wizards of the Coast and related names, logos, card names, artwork and product images may be trademarks or copyrights of their respective owners. MasterCopter is an independent seller and content creator and is not affiliated with, endorsed or sponsored by Wizards of the Coast.

23

Secondary-market value

Trading card prices can fluctuate significantly. The price of a booster does not represent or guarantee the value of the cards inside it, and MasterCopter makes no promise about the current or future market value of any card.

24

Liability

MasterCopter fulfils orders in accordance with Belgian and European consumer law. MasterCopter is not liable for disappointment about the contents of authentic sealed boosters or for changes in card market values.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability or consumer rights where this is not legally allowed.

25

26

Privacy

Personal data you provide when creating an account, ordering, bidding, paying or arranging delivery is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

You can request deletion of your account via info@mastercopter.com. Some information may be kept longer where accounting, tax or other legal obligations require it.

27

Applicable law

These terms are governed by Belgian law. If you live in another country, you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer law of your country of residence.

If any provision of these terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in force.

28

Acceptance of terms

Before placing an order, you must tick the box confirming that you have read and accept these Terms & Conditions, including the information on the right of withdrawal. An order cannot be placed without this confirmation. The order button reads "Order and pay", to make clear that placing the order creates an obligation to pay.

Before placing a bid, you must likewise tick the box confirming that you accept these terms and that a winning bid must be paid.

MasterCopter may update these terms from time to time. The version accepted at the time of your order or bid applies to that order or bid.
